Behind the scenes images of Max Lamb working on the Last Stool Splatter in his studio in London. The Last Stool Splatter is hand-painted and then fired at 800C for a perfect enamel finish. This new addition to our Last Stool collection will be shown in Milan during Salone del Mobile, along with other exciting new Hem launches. The Hem exhibition will be open to the public from Tuesday April 12th to Friday April 15th, 10am-8pm at H+ (Accapiu´), Via Varese 12, Brera.

Winning the 2003 International Design Award while still a student allowed Max Lamb to visit the Cologne Trade Fair, where his interest in industrial design was piqued. The Englishman favours a direct, uncomplicated approach, trying to create an object from its raw material in the simplest possible way. His Last Stool, made from a single sheet of turned metal, is emblematic of his style.
